The REAL progressive candidate

The Huffington Post has really ramped up its Obama ball-washing, but even as this so-called “progressive” media outlet talks about their “wondrous golden boy of change” it finds excuses for his approval of the FISA bill letting the telecoms off the hook for violating our 4th Amendment rights.

His limited ability to exercise moral leadership leaves him with no choice other than to accept Republican frames on issues. So, on the FISA bill, for example, loss of privacy and immunity for criminal telecom companies become a trivial price to pay for protection from unfathomable and pervasive Evil.

Why does he have limited ability to excercise moral leadership?  We need to vote for a candidate who isn’t afraid to do so and who will bring about REAL changes.  For Ralph Nader and real progressives, this illegal and covert wiretapping of American citizens is a heinous affront to our Constitutional and human rights.  If you want a real change, don’t vote Obama, vote Nader this November.

  1. The FISA vote outed Obama as the a small ‘r’ republican in Democratic-clothing he really is.

  2. The reason members of the two parties of the apocalypse are morally challenged is simple. That’s how you rise up in the ranks of the dirty dems and filthy repubs!

As to huffy the media whore and the rest of nobamas apologists, they seem to be reading the excuses they give for their wonder boys failings from some sort of catechism!

Since nobama and mcPain are sticking to generalities, I guess their supporters have a tough row to hoe.

We Nader supporters have it easy! The Nader campaign is strong on the issues with lots of specifics!

The scientifically impossible I do right away
The spiritually miraculous takes a bit longer
